In July our customers donated $2,272.42 to the Northwoods/Cherry/Tower Soudan/Northeast Range JOM Parent Committee!
The JOM Parent Committee is gathering resources for “learning trunks” for 4 schools in school district 2142. These learning trunks are designed to provide teachers and students with hands-on materials to enhance their Ojibwe and Dakota curriculum. These are learning tools to see things from an American Indian perspective. Each item is selected with intention and will be an integral part of the curriculum and will be used for years to come.
