Preserve Your Local Harvest
Join Jenna Ballinger from the NH Deli and Janna Goerdt of Fat Chicken Farm for this instructional class on how to preserve delicious foods from your summer harvest. Learn how to make your own kimichi, pickles and how to can tomatoes. This will be a hands class so prepare to do some chopping.
This class is part of the kick off for the 4th Annual Iron Range Harvest Fest. Sponsors of the event include Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability, Messiah Lutheran Church, Natural Harvest Food Co-op, Regional Sustainable Development Partnership and Growing Together.
