Diane Childs from our very own Iron Range has been making Juustoa, Finnish Squeaky Cheese, since 1981. With over 30 years’ experience and more than 1000 cheeses under her belt, Diane has not only perfected the process, but shortened it as well – all without compromising the texture or flavor. In this class, you will learn how to make Juustoa from skim milk with Diane walking you through step by step from start to ‘Finnish’. Be prepared to take a step back in time and experience the ‘squeak’ this cheese is so famous for! This is a demonstration based class.
